Crafternoon — Each month a new art or craft to make and take!
Crafternoon is now for Tweens, Teens, and Adults! If you are in grade 6—adult, join us to learn a new craft!
Please register for this event so we can know how much material to have on hand as all materials supplied.
Learn to Crochet
You will learn the chain stitch and the single crochet as you make yourself a reusable mug warmer — no more burning your hands on hot cups of coffee and cocoa!
These cup warmers only take about 30-45 minutes to complete so they make great last-minute gifts or stocking stuffers.
Using a combination of these two stitches you can also make the beautiful Moss/Granite stitch. Learn double crochet — only a half-step more than single crochet — and not only stitch in half the time, you can also create the amazingly simple shell stitch.
