T(w)een Anime Club – watch anime, read manga, cosplay, learn about Japanese culture and more!

Virtual* Karaoke Party!!!

Karaoke was born in Japan in the 1960s, and to this day teens spend their evenings in karaoke bars eating, drinking, and singing along to their favorite songs. Join the Anime Club for Ashland Library’s first Karaoke Bar!

So pick out your favorite song from Anime (Japanese or English version), J-Drama, K-Drama, etc, or even J-Pop or K-Pop. You can even come dressed in your finest cosplay! Bonus if you know any anime opening or ending dances.

Please note: THIS IS A JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE – no one is allowed to make fun of anyone else’s singing.

*This month’s Anime Club is being offered virtually. ¬†As our priority is safety, we’ve made this difficult decision due to the current surge in Covid 19 cases in Ashland and the expected spike after the holidays.

T(w)een events are open to all 6th-12th graders.

Hear all about our events by signing up for the library’s newsletter!
